Speaking also, the media head of the team, Olugbenga Toki noted that the initiative hopes to reach out to youths and students on the importance of Digital Literacy.
Olugbenga noted that with the push for Digital economies in Africa, the club sees a need to support the Digital quest.
“If you look at the importance of the new media, for instance, many persons who use it are not New Media literates and this has to stop. We need to start teaching the application of the knowledge they have and that is our goal”.
He stressed that nationwide Ambassadors will be unveiled in no long time to further the cause of the club.
Africa has been charged to build more Digital literates with countries like Nigeria and Rwanda leading the pursuit of the ideal.
