CP Kolo Seeks Cooperation of Traditional Institutions in Tacking insecurity in Zamfara

CP Kolo Seeks Cooperation of Traditional Institutions in Tacking insecurity in Zamfara

As he reassures sustained commitment to end the lingering security challenges bedeviling the state.

As part of effort to strengthening the community policing strategy in fighting all form of criminal activities in Zamfara State.

The Commissioner of Police Zamfara State Command CP Kolo Yusuf psc, today visited His Royal Highness, the Emir of Anka and Chairman Zamfara State Council of chiefs, Alhaji Attahiru Mohammed Ahmad CON, at his Palace in Anka.

The visit was for the CP to familiarise himself with the Traditional Rulers being among major stakeholders in combating activities of criminal elements across the state, so that both can be on the same page for effective service delivery.

While at the Emir’s Palace, the Commissioner of Police thanks His Royal Highness for his unalloyed support and collaboration with the Police and other security agencies, and assures the Emir for the Command’s tireless commitment to ending the lingering security challenges bedeviling the state for over a decade.

On his part, the Emir of Zamfara, commends the Inspector General of Police IGP Usman Alkali Baba psc+, NPM, fdc for posting CP Kolo Yusuf to Zamfara whose track records have been testified by all and sundry. The Emir pledges more support and cooperation to the CP and all the security agencies by extension, to enable them achieve the mandate of safeguarding lives and property of the citizens.

The Commissioner of Police was accompanied by the DC Operations, DCP Dauda Mamman psc, Commanding Officers 42/78 PMF Squadrons, Commander CTU Base 18 Gusau among others.
