Israr, explained that their school is the first Kano private university to admit over 1,000 students in its first academic session.

He pointed out that their MAAUN management has created an enabling teaching and learning environment for students, lecturers, and other staff.

Expressing gratitude for the IMPR delegation’s visit, Prof. Israr, described the courtesy call on their school as memorable. On behalf of Prof. Abubakar Adamu Gwarzo, Founder of MAAUN who was out of the country, he extended their university’s goodwill to IMPR.

Earlier, while taking IMPR’s staff round their campus, Kayode, said their MAAUN management installed projectors in all lecture halls in the school, with 24 hours internet connection to enable students access electronic books for their assignments and research purposes.

“No student has any excuse to miss a class. In fact, our students take their lectures from home and even outside the country.”

Shuaib, while commending Prof. Gwarzo and the school management for the efforts they are putting towards catapulting MAAUN to a greater height, said: “I am truly surprised and dumbfounded.

“I can’t believe that this is a university in Kano. Every facility and structure I have seen here is up to global standards”.
