Adeniyi further revealed that their Customs management has embarked on reconstructions and rehabilitation of all COWA facilities such as schools and hospitals across the country.
“We have also embarked on the acquisition of new properties for COWA in areas they are needed. Also, COWA has many undocumented properties nationwide.
“But I wish to say that the Customs management has evolved necessary mechanisms to appropriately document the properties, so that COWA can easily lay claims to them,” said the Customs Chief, who was represented by a Deputy Comptroller General of Customs, DCG Festus Okon.
In her welcome address, Mrs. Kikelomo Adeniyi, COWA President, said the opening of their COWA National Secretariat is the beginning of a great journey; a milestone in a new and exciting trajectory for the Nigeria Customs Service community.
