PRNigeria Bags Two NIPR Awards, Offers Female Corps Members Automatic Employment

PRNigeria, a subsidiary of Image Merchants Promotion Limited (IMPR), has been honoured with the prestigious ‘Diamond Award’ by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) in commemoration of its 60th Anniversary. The awards recognized IMPR’s excellence in professional service and compliance with Public Relations (PR) practice over time.

Alhaji Yushau Shuaib, the Chief Executive Officer of IMPR, who also received an individual Diamond Award of Excellence, announced this during the company’s weekly editorial meeting at its Abuja headquarters on Monday. He said the Chairman of IMPR, Dr. Sule Yau Sule, also bagged the Diamond Anniversary Award for his sustained contribution to the growth of PR in Nigeria.

Shuaib dedicated the awards to the staff, stating that the recognition represents the collective efforts that have contributed to the rising profile of the integrated marketing communication firm. “We dedicate the awards to all of you, it represents individual efforts that make up the collective success we enjoy, and I urge everyone to keep doing the good work,” he said.

In a related development, PRNigeria has offered automatic employment to two female corps members, Aisha Mohammed and Al-janat Mohammed, in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the organization in Health and Entertainment reporting, respectively.

Alhaji Yushau Shuaib made the announcement after the corps members’ passing-out ceremony, noting that the offers were meant to reward the sisters for their individual innovations, collective creativity, and diligence on duty. “The Health and Entertainment Desks were new additions to IMPR when these youngsters came to join us. Their punctuality, creativity, and sense of duty have propelled both desks to unbelievable heights, hence, the employment offers are well deserved. We say a big congratulations to them,” the CEO stated.
