FACT-CHECK: How Genuine is Video of Man Who Discovered His Wife Was Born a Male?
A widely circulated video on WhatsApp claims that a man after years of marriage, discovered that his spouse was actually born a male.
The man who confronted his “wife” in a shopping mall about the shocking revelation while flashing documentary evidence at her which he claimed he got from her sister chastised the woman for lying to him stating he wants his ring back and a divorce.

Using the TikTok user’s name watermarked on the video, PRNigeria fact check tracked the source of the video to the TikTok account and discovered that the man in the picture is a content creator known for videos with similar titles. He had contents with titles like “A father just discovered his daughter,” “Daughter just discovered father,” “Brother just discovered his biological sister,” and “A man finds out he’s married to a man.”
PRNigeria has also identified several videos in which he is either talking or standing beside other content creators in different scenes.
Therefore, based on facts established, PRNigeria concludes that this particular video is intended for entertainment purposes and is not a real event.
