Katsina Immigration Comptroller Recognized as ‘Icon of Integrity’

Katsina Immigration Comptroller Recognized as ‘Icon of Integrity’

In a momentous ceremony held at his office today, the Comptroller of Immigration Service, CIS Mohammed Adamu Mahmoud, was officially recognized as an “ICON OF INTEGRITY” by the Zero Tolerance for Corruption Association (ZTCA). This accolade was awarded in appreciation of his exemplary professionalism, diligence, humility, and integrity in managing the finances of the various positions he has held.

Ambassador Kamal S. Koli, Chairman of the ZTCA, commended Mahmoud for his outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment to good governance. He emphasized the Comptroller’s robust stance against corruption, categorizing him as an individual who consistently promotes transparency and accountability within the immigration service.

“We, the executive members of the Zero Tolerance for Corruption Association, are honored to express our deep gratitude to the Comptroller of Immigration Service, Katsina State Command,” Koli stated. “He has exemplified outstanding leadership and is a formidable advocate against corruption. We are proud to endorse you as an ‘ICON OF INTEGRITY.'”

Koli further highlighted the unanimous decision by the association’s executive council to honor Mahmoud, noting that his distinguished service to society and his dedication to human capital development were crucial factors in their decision. “Your name was nominated and adopted during our last Executive meeting following the appraisal committee’s comprehensive report,” he added.

In his response, Comptroller Mahmoud expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the ZTCA for the honor bestowed upon him. He pledged to continue leading by example and aimed to use this recognition as motivation for his officers to uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

“This is truly a great honor for me,” Mahmoud remarked. “I am committed to ensuring that this recognition inspires my officers to uphold the values of transparency and accountability in all our dealings.”

The recognition by the Zero Tolerance for Corruption Association stands as a testament to Mahmoud’s principled approach to leadership and his relentless efforts to combat corruption within the immigration service.
