Arewa Consultative Forum Appoints Nasiru Haladu Danu as Spokesperson
In a significant move to enhance the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) and focus its objectives, distinguished statesman and businessman Alhaji Nasiru Haladu Danu, OFR, Sardauna Dutse and Tafida Babban Daura, has been appointed as the Chairman of the ACF’s Media and Publicity Committee. The announcement was made during the committee’s inauguration by Dr. Bashir Dalhatu, Chairman of the ACF Board of Trustees. The committee aims to promote the socio-economic advancement of Northern Nigeria.
Alhaji Danu, a prominent figure in Nigeria’s political and business arena, has committed to leveraging the committee’s resources to ensure an accurate and positive narrative for the North, while fostering stability throughout the region and the nation at large.

The committee boasts a diverse lineup of notable members, including Dr. Mahmood (Modi) Halilu Ahmed, mni, the Sarkin Gabas Adamawa; Senator Binta Masi Nasir Garba, a distinguished legislative leader; veteran journalists Muhammad Abubakar Kudu, Ishaq Modibbo Kawu, and Ramalan Tijani, who bring their extensive media and communications expertise to the group. Additionally, renowned music icons Zakky Adzay and Aminu Ala will contribute their creative talents, along with Abdullahi O. Haruna (Haruspice), a young and influential social media personality and PR expert known for his engaging articles and insightful perspectives.
This appointment is set to further strengthen the ACF’s mission of promoting development and unity in Northern Nigeria.
