Troops Foil Terrorist Attack on Benue Market, Kill Two
Troops of Operation Whirl Stroke have foiled a terrorist attack on the Tor Donga Yam Market in Benue State, killing two suspected terrorists during a swift response to a distress call.
The operation prevented what the military described as a planned assault that could have caused significant civilian casualties and disrupted commercial activities at one of the state’s major markets.
The troops, working in collaboration with operatives of the Benue State Civil Protection Guard, intercepted the attackers on Sunday while conducting fighting and confidence-building patrols in the area.

During the gun battle, two suspected terrorists identified as Dantaraba and Golozo were neutralised.
