HumAngle Media Launches Subscription-Based Service, HumAngle+

HumAngle Media, a leading digital media platform renowned for its insightful coverage of conflict zones, terrorism, development, and security matters in Africa, proudly announces the launch of its groundbreaking subscription-based service, HumAngle+. With a commitment to fostering a comprehensive understanding of conflict, development, gender and human rights in Africa, this innovative offering promises to deliver exclusive in-depth analysis and enriched perspectives.

The new subscription-based service launches on Thursday, Aug. 17, 2023, and will offer more in-depth and data-driven insights mainly for the purpose of research and policymaking. It will not replace HumAngle Media’s regular news offering, which will remain free to access.

With the launch of HumAngle+, subscribers will gain exclusive access to a new dimension of reports that goes beyond headlines. The dedication to uncovering Africa’s hidden truths and presenting unbiased, comprehensive analysis remains unwavering.

Speaking ahead of the launch, HumAngle Media CEO and Editor-in-Chief, Ahmad Salkida, expressed hope at the impact he believes the project will have.

“We have walked a long road to get here, and I am confident that HumAngle+ will have a huge impact on the security and humanitarian sectors in Africa. The business strategy was the outcome of a year-long intensive process in collaboration with the Google News Initiative, which generously co-funded the process with HumAngle Media Limited.

“We do realise that we are walking into a new territory and while we recognise the challenges ahead, we are very confident in the work we have put into it and how much positive change we can bring to the ecosystem,” he said.
