Female Inmate Bags First Class Degree in Prison
It was indeed a golden day of joy for the Inmates at the Port Harcourt Maximum Prison during the 7th Graduation and 9th Matriculation Ceremony of the African College of Christian Education and Seminary (Affiliate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria), Port Harcourt Prison Study Center, as Amarachi Judith Chinasa received her certificate of first class in Bachelor of Arts (BA) Educational Administration, along side six other male inmates, and nine others got Diploma in various areas of theological study.

The President of African College of Christian Education Dr. Barr. Innocent Ekwu and his team presented the awards to graduands as the Controller of Prisons Mr Amaliri Ifeanyi and Superintendent of Prisons Okolo Gabriel also were conferred with Honourary Doctorate Degree in Guidance and Counselling.
The Controller appreciated the President and coordinators for their efforts and charged the graduands to live an exemplary life to other inmates and make good use of the knowledge they have acquired when they are eventually released from Prison, in the same vain, he encouraged the matriculants to be diligent and focused and not to lose hope as they go on to study.
Simultaneously, in the same Port Harcourt Prison, the Christian College of Theology and Seminary (Affiliate of International Victory Bible Institute, USA, celebrated their 7th Matriculation and Graduation Thanksgiving Service, where twelve students graduated and were presented with certificates of ordination.
