The Minister of Aviation, Chief Osita Benjamin Chidoka, OFR, is expected to deliver the convocation lecture at the forthcoming 44th Convocation of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu State.
The convocation, which takes place at the famous Princess Alexandra Auditorium, Nsukka on Thursday January 22, 2015 commences with the Honourable Minister’s lecture at noon.
The topic of the lecture is titled; ‘Rebuilding the Nigeria Dream: Mapping the Building Blocks.’
Chidoka,, a former Corps Marshal of Federal Road Safety commission is an alumnus of the university.

The minister obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He thereafter proceeded to the School of Public Policy at George Masson University in the United States of America where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Transport Policy and Logistics.
He also holds a certificate in Global Strategy and Political Economy from Oxford University, UK and a Graduate Diploma in Maritime & Ports Management from the National University of Singapore
In recognition of his expertise, he was appointed on July 23rd, 2014 by President Goodluck Jonathan as the Minister of Aviation.
In August, 2014, Chief Osita Chidoka was conferred with the prestigious National Productivity Order of Merit (NPOM) award by President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in recognition for his productivity and commitment towards nation building.
