Evergreen Initiative hosts National Youth Dialogue

A group, Evergreen Initiative will on Thursday 3rd of May, 2018 hold a dialogue with youths and other stakeholders in the country.

The event will address issues of unemployment, youth restiveness and skill acquisitions and empowerment.

Speaking to press, the founder of Evergreen Initiative, Alli-Bob Cinwon, said the National Youth Dialogue is an initiative birthed with three main objectives.

He said: “some of the objectives of our programmes include initiating and engaging young Nigerians in intellectually progressive dialogue, urging youths to be genuine change makers and solution providers, creating a platform for youth enlightenment and inclusion in Politics and Governance via mentorship, dialogue and practical experience.”

Speaking further the founder of the initiative said the program aims to build structures to ensure an evergreen Nigeria.

“Our focus includes building structures to enhance our journey to deliver an Evergreen Nigeria and also to address national issues including youth inclusion in politics and governance, the role of peace and unity in national development” Mr Alli-Bob added.

The event is scheduled to hold at the Nile University, Jabi, Abuja.

Some of the guests expected at the occasion includes panelists like; Segun Awosanya, the convener of the ‘EndSars movement’; Ohimai Amazie, popularly known as Mr Fix Nigeria for his numerous contributions to national development; Jude Feranmi the National Youth Leader of  Kowa Party; Esther Agbarakwe popularly known as  ‘Esther Climate’ and a host of other personalities.

The organizers told this Newspaper that Awards of excellence will also be given to celebrate and encourage young people doing outstanding things in different walks of life, Nigerian youths who have thrived and flourished regardless of all the negative odds.
