NPS Warns Against Bribery for Recruitment of Prison Officers
The Controller of Nigeria Prison Service (NPS) Bauchi State Command, CP Suleiman T. Suleiman has warned Prisons officers in the State to guard against taking any form of gratification from prospective applicants in the on going Nigerian Prison service recruitment.
CP Suleiman dropped the warning today while addressing staff during his two day tour of prison facilities in the state which took him to Ningi, Jama’are, Azare and Misau Prisons respectively. He noted that it is against the ethics of the Service and also contrary to the zero tolerance for corruption campaign of the present administration.

The Controller of Prisons also urged officers and men of the Service to appreciate the laudable transformations the service is going through under the leadership of the Controller General of Prisons, Ja’afaru Ahmed. He stressed that staff should channel their efforts towards promoting the image of the service at all times rather than making unnecessary comments on social media platforms.
CP Suleiman T.Suleiman also.took time to interact with Prisons inmates in all the Prisons he visited. He urged them to remain peaceful and make sure they acquire the needed vocational skills that will help them settle down after their discharge from Prison.
