PRNigeria, Other IMPR Titles Must Sustain their Reputation in Nigerian Media Space – Board Chairman

The Chairman, Board of Directors, Image Merchant Promotions (IMPR) Limited, Dr. Sule Ya’u Sule, has applauded PRNigeria and other media subsidiaries of IMPR for the strides they have recorded in disseminating factual and authoritative reportage on Nigeria’s defence/security terrain, together with other critical national sectors.

He disclosed this at a press conference in Kano State, convened to avail the media and general public on the success stories of their IMPR brand in the outgoing year.

The conference was part of activities organized to draw the curtain on this year’s IMPR Staff Retreat, which holds annually in Kano.

According to Ya’u Sule, who is also the editor-in-chief of the titles, there is the need for IMPR staff to keep up with their good work of producing top-notch investigative stories, most especially.

He said that other mainstream news outlets rely highly on news from PRNigeria, especially on security and defence issues.

He said, “With what is happening in IMPR, we are proud to be associated with this company. I urge you all to keep up the good works, you don’t know where the reward will come from.

“We have branded and established ourselves. And other media organisations rely on us to get their stories, especially on security.”

Ya’u Sule further expressed satisfaction over some other outstanding achievements recorded by IMPR in the outgoing year, recalling how targets were set in 2021 ahead of this year.

Earlier, Mr. Rahaman Raheem, Managing Editor of PRNigeria and Economic Confidential, among other titles of IMPR, reeled out the exclusive investigative stories done by some PRNigeria reporters, together with media fellowships and journalism awards, also won by IMPR staff.

“I can’t forget to add that one of our titles, Arewa Agenda, just last weekend organized its maiden ‘Arewa 30 under 30 Awards’ event, where several youths of northern extraction were celebrated and recognized,” he said.

A book titled, “National Security Strategies: A Young Writer’s Perspectives,” highlighting the humanitarian situations in Kagara, Niger State, and Chonoko, Kebbi State, written by one of IMPR’s staff reporter, Mukhtar Ya’u Madobi, was also unveiled at the occasion.
