Naval War College Inaugurates 22 Military Officers for Warfare Course

The Naval War Collage Nigeria, Calabar under the leadership of Rear Admiral Abdullahi Ahmed has inaugurated 22 officers into the Naval Warfare Course.

The officers comprise 16 Nigerian Navy officers, 2 Nigerian Army officers, 2 Nigerian Air Force officers, all of the rank of Commander and equivalent.

Also as part of a military training exchange program, PRNigeria gathered that the Ghanian and Guinea Bissau Navies are represented by one officer each.

This momentous event marks the beginning of a 9-months intensive warfare training aimed at sharpening the war aptitude and cognitive skills of the participants.

The course is pivotal in providing middle cadre officers with the poise required to stem the wake of rising maritime and national security challenges in Nigeria’s Maritime Environment and the Gulf of Guinea region.
