Popular TikTok Sensation, Murja Kunya, Accuses Hisbah of Sexual Harassment
A popular Tik Toker based in Kano State, Murja Ibrahim Kunya has accused Hisbah of sexual harassment in the course of their duties.
She made the allegation in a viral audio that’s going around on TikTok and other social media platforms.
While it is not clear whether the audio was made after her arrest and arraignment in court recently, Politics Digest, a subsidiary of PRNigeria confirmed the authenticity of the audio and her voice.
Murja in the audio lamented how she and her friends campaigned vigorously for the victory of gubernatorial candidate of NNPC, Abba Yusuf to emerge as Governor of Kano State.
Politics Digest reports that Kano State Hisbah Board, last Tuesday, arrested the celebrity after receiving complaints from her neighbours over her alleged immoral behaviours that are liable to corrupt the morals of the neighbourhood and incite a disturbance.

A shari’a court in Kwana Hudu area of Kano metropolis ordered the remand of the controversial TikTok sensation at the Kurmawa correctional facility in Kano, following her arrest by Hisbah.
Though Murja was said to have fled from prison without meeting her bail conditions, the spokesman of the Kano correctional center, Musbahu Kofar Nassarawa, said she was released following a court order.
But Murja, in the trending viral audio is quoted to have said: “Is what Hisbah in Kano is doing i Okay like this? Allah S.W.T has listened to our cry, that of our parents and brothers to bring this government to power but Daurawa and his family are doing everything to tarnish the image of this government with something called ‘Hisbah’.
“They went to Sarina Hotel and arrested young women and put them in their buses like bread, as they were being taken to prison. Wallahi, I swear if Hisbah officials arrested women in the hotel, I am not lying against them on the issue of harassing the girls exually.
“They give these women an option of having a romantic affair like ‘Taliya’ (Masturbation for arousal) till they release sperm or to play with their boobs (breasts) or they take them to their parents.”
