Again, Troops Storm ISWAP Terrorists, Capture Guntrucks at Monguno Axis
The troops of Operation Lafiya Dole have inflicted heavy casualty on Boko Haram/Islamic States for West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists who laid ambush on commuters between Gajiram and Monguno on Wednesday.
The insurgents attacked commuters with about 7 guntrucks around the axis of Ari Gamboru and Gasarwa along the Monguno road on a robbery mission at about 1pm.

A competent security source told PRNigeria that following credible intelligence, troops stormed the scene where they had fierce encounter and eliminated some terrorists.
“Apart from killing some of the terrorists, the troops captured five guntrucks and sophisticated weapons from Boko Haram Fighters.
“The other terrorists escaped in their two remaining vehicles. Some travellers including women and children who were at the verge of being abducted were rescued by the troops,” the source concluded.
