Police Nab Sale-Merchants for Armed Bandits in Katsina

On 12/08/2020 at about 14hours, based on credible intelligence, the Operatives of State Intelligence Bureau (SIB) Katsina Command Succeeded in Arresting the following (1) Abdullahi Saidu ‘M’ 40 years old of Gobirawa Village (2) Jafaru Aminu ‘M’ 50 Years old of Unguwar Nachibi all of Birnin Gwari L.G.A of Kaduna State in possession of twelve (12) stolen cows, in the course of investigation the suspects all confessed to have received the cows from the bandits along faskari LGA of katsina state axis with Birnin Gwari of Kaduna state with intent to dispose them off. Investigation is still ongoing please.

ARREST OF NOTOURIOUS HUMAN TRAFFICKING KINPIN
On 11/08/2020 at about 1630hours Base on reliable tip off, the command succeeded in arresting one Abubakar Habibu ‘M’ of Koza Village, Maiadua L.G.A of katsina state, a notorious kingpin of Human Trafficking syndicate terrorizing Katsina state. He was arrested at a police check point along Kongolom – Daura road, katsina state and is wanted in connection with a case of Human trafficking which is under investigation by the Command. The syndicate specialises in conveying their victims on motorcycles across the Nigerian boarder to Niger Republic for onward trafficking to Libya and to Europe. In the course of investigation suspect confessed to the Commission of the offence. Efforts is ongoing to arrest other members of the syndicate. Investigation is ongoing.
