Yunwa: Miliyoyin Mutane za su Sami Kansu a cikin Mawuyacin Hali a Sudan ta Kudu

Majalisar Dinkin Duniya ta yi gargadin cewa kusan mutane miliyan takwas a Sudan ta Kudu, ko kashi biyu bisa uku na al’ummar kasar, za su fuskanci barazanar karancin abinci da tsananin yunwa.

Wani sabon rahoton da aka fitar ya bayyana cewa, yunwa da rashin abinci mai gina jiki na karuwa a yankunan da ambaliyar ruwa da fari da tashe-tashen hankula suka shafa a Sudan ta Kudu, kuma wasu al’ummomi na fuskantar barazanar yunwa matukar ba a ci gaba da gudanar da ayyukan jin kai ba.

Rahoton hadin gwiwa na Hukumar Abinci da Aikin Noma ta Majalisar Dinkin Duniya FAO, Asusun Kula da kananan yara na Majalisar Dinkin Duniya UNICEF, da Hukumar Abinci ta Duniya (WFP) sun ce adadin mutanen da ke fuskantar matsanancin karancin abinci da rashin abinci mai gina jiki ba a taba samun sa ba, wanda hakan ke nuni da cewa matsalar ta  wuce irin wacce aka gani lokacin shekarar 2013 da 2016.

Rahoton ya ce mutane miliyan 7.76 ne ke fuskantar barazanar karancin abinci a lokacin bazara daga Afrilu zuwa Yulin 2023, yayin da yara miliyan 1.4 za su yi fama da cutar tamowa.

Rahoton ya zargi rikice-rikice, rashin kyawun yanayin tattalin arziki, matsanancin dumamar yanayi, da hauhawar farashin abinci da man fetur, da kuma raguwar kudade don inganta ayyukan jin kai, shima ya kara dagula lamuran.

“Mun kasance cikin wani yanayi da ke neman daukin gaggawa na rigakafin yunwa domin guje wa mummunan sakamako, amma hakan da alama bam ai yuwu wa bane,” in ji Makena Walker, mukaddashin darektan WFP a Sudan ta Kudu.

Walker ya kara da cewa, Sudan ta Kudu na kan gaba wajen fuskantar matsalar sauyin yanayi, kuma a kowace rana, iyalai na rasa muhallansu, da dabbobi, da gonakinsu, saboda tsananin sauyin yanayi.

“Idan ba tare da taimakon abinci na jin kai ba, miliyoyin mutane za su sami kansu a cikin mawuyacin hali kuma ba za su iya samun abinci mai inganci da gina jiki ga iyakansu ba,” a ciwar Majalisar Dinkin Duniya
